My Lord,
I have the honor to report
that 24 Chinese Convicts under
sentence of transportation were on
the 7th Instant conveyed to Penang in the Barque "Eagle" at the rate of $35 per man, amounting to £175 for the whole.
The usual documents required
for their detention at that place
were forwarded by the
same vessel to the Governor of the Straits Settlements.
A Descriptive List of these
Convicts is herewith enclosed.
